Visitor Tips for Hong Kong Disneyland

These insider tips will help you make the most of your day:

Download the Hong Kong Disney Mobile App: Essential for your visit, the app provides wait times, maps, schedules, and more, allowing you to maximize your time and streamline your experience.

Involve the Kids in Planning: Let them pick their favourite rides and make those a priority when you first arrive at the park.

Take Advantage of PhotoPass Locations: Capture professional family photos throughout the park. You can view them online or in the Disney HK app, and purchase keepsake versions at various locations.

Plan for Seasonal Events: During festive times like Chinese New Year, Halloween, or Christmas, Hong Kong Disneyland goes all out. Make sure to include these seasonal attractions in your itinerary, as they offer a unique, immersive experience.

Aim to arrive at the park by 10am. This will not only put you at the front of the queue, but you’ll also be able to enter Main Street USA around 10:20am, giving you a head start toward your chosen “land” before the rides begin operating.

During the hot summer months, schedule some indoor shows for the afternoon. It’s a great way to rest, recharge, and cool down.

If you have a young child who naps, bring your own stroller. They’ll feel more comfortable and are more likely to settle down for a snooze.

To avoid post-closing crowds, plan to leave the park 20 to 30 minutes before it shuts. This will save you time and make your journey home much smoother when everyone is tired.

If you’re planning to visit more than three times a year, it’s worth investing in the Gold Pass. For a one-off trip, check for deals on KKDay to save on tickets.
